If I may still May...and some of June

I decided to start in no particular order. Because I always hesitate with beginnings. Beginnings have to be perfect...well rehearsed....etc etc.... but in practicality the order of  events never is. In the great drama of life, you miss some cues, totally forgot some lines, improvise and all that to stay in the game and fulfill your role. The beauty of it is, later on, this seems to have worked too. Can't write more succinctly on this folks, philosophy and deep introspection have never been my forte. In everything I do it is one day at  a time.

AM very late to the gratitude circle this time around. Still planning to go ahead and post this there.
May was a busy month. The first half of it was performances for both the girls - dance for Big G and ballet for lil g. Two consequent weekends of watching performances and doing boxer braids for Big G. Here is a link to master them, takes a bit of practice. We were very proud of the girls for their performances.

The last two weeks of May had got busy with a small project, interning, thanks to a friend's help. For me it was stepping into an office set up after years....and that in itself was a big challenge. The stint is over now, my bit for it, that is. I was very grateful for that opportunity and realized how much organised a working woman's life needs to be. Forget about doing it all. One just can't. One needs support, to lean in etc but if one does not have this option it becomes extremely challenging. Even though it was not full time, I felt short of time to spend with kids, unable to cook elaborate meals for the family and realized that weekdays life has to be very simple - meals pre-planned etc. We had a couple of visits to friend's place and also had people over.

Had caught a bad cough and cold a couple of weeks ago and it has been affecting my quality of sleep. Has got better only recently. June started off with being even more demanding, with a possibility of a full time assignment for me. The prospect is terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. The whole family will have changes to grapple with. If its finalized our summer vacation plans will have to be cancelled and for the kids it will be a big disappointment.

My current situation thus ties up with the opening paragraph of how everything is in a flux and always dynamic.  Not many things are settled and so its back to one day at a time. Man ka ho to acchaha. Man ka na ho to zyada acchha - I am with this thought. So long folks, until next time.
