The Tiger who came to Tea: Book Review

The Tiger Who Came To Tea, by Judith Kerr

This was one of the first few books that I bought for Big G. I would read it out to her once almost every day when she was a baby and it continues to remain a favorite book with both my kids even now.

The idea of a huge, furry, striped Tiger appearing in the little girl's house is the biggest source of wonder. And did he actually eat up all the tea? The illustrations are lovely and there is always a takeaway for learning from every single reading. The story of  Tiger and Sophie will continue to intrigue the young ones for a long long time.
