Contented Maharajah....some recipes.....

I love food and also like to try different cuisines. I believe nothing can beat home food. You know what your grand mom and mom makes best and there is no better comfort food than that.
I also love trying out food at friends' and exchanging recipes. You are what you eat, shrug, possibly!! I remember, during school days, my brother and me were quite fascinated by Eggs. We were allowed to eat eggs only in the winter, if there was no festival or bada din, if there was no other alternative tempting food on the table for the day, and strictly to be made in separate pan kept for this purpose.

One of the few things we attempted to master was 'Scrambled eggs - Mohammed ali style". Now Mohammed Ali was my brother's classmate, and his Mom used to make this amazing scambled eggs. I was the chef, but with little idea how to make it just so. So my brother would obligingly get home in his tiffin-box some scraps of scrambled eggs (bartered with Mohammed Ali for our dhoklas/puris/idlis), which i was supposed to taste and replicate. C'est une task diffuculte', je pense! But in time, this is how I make them.
Scrambled eggs

Ingredients -
Some eggs (beaten well), onions, green chillies, clove or two of garlic, couple of tomatoes, coriander(must have)
Method -
Take oil as per ur taste (more the better), fry chopped onions, garlic, chillies.
Once onions brown a bit, add tomatoes, add salt and turmeric.
Once tomatoes are cooked a bit, add beaten eggs, keep breaking eggs into as small pieces as you can with a spatula.
Add coriander as a garnish.
(the above picture is a borrowed one, will substitute at the earliest)
Is very relishable with rotis, parathas, bread.
