Lil G's first outing, belated Holi & other things.......
Ok, so little G started school full time last week, she has been going half days since mid Jan, but last week she was there 4 full days. Today, their class of 25 is going to the airport to see planes flying in and out. This is in keeping with the theme 'Flying' for their annual day for this Month. There are 7 parents who will be accompanying them there, with 2 teachers. I am just very anxious about the whole thing. I asked my husband if I should keep her home, he too was of the opinion that they are too small. And the airport, so many people, generally crowded. I am keeping my fingers crossed big time. I am waiting for 2 o' clock, that's the time they will be back and I will be at ease.
Meanwhile the whole of last week I have spent my time doing nothing constructive. Yes, not worked on my blog, or repaired some frayed clothes, caught up on my ironing, nothing. Forget learning something or even listening to songs. Some random blog hopping, I did and now, blog hopping does not make sense if I don't delurk or comment on stuff I agree/disagree with. That is the bare minimum to be done.
Boring is the word that comes to mind. Non-interesting and disinterested. Also blogged, also lived. Nothing different, very limited dimensions. Here are links to some blog posts which say it so much better. The context is different but the interpretation can be somewhat similar to my current status.

Meanwhile, did my daily landing on the blog of Indian Home Maker and am currently reading a lot of blogger posts on feminism. Here http://indianhomemaker.wordpress.com/2012/02/23/received-permission-to-print-from-these-winners-of-trba-2011/. Reading them bit by bit and hopefully will be inspired to do my own post on it soon.
Bye, its 12:10 and still a while to go. Planning to do some French Steps on BBC. Should be a breeze after 1.5 years of learning French.
ETA: Wish you all a Happy Holi, not my fav. festival, but one I want my children to see/know. This Sunday we will be going to the Isckon temple at the Ardennes to see it being celebrated. Looking forward to see it though the eyes of my kids.
