Can I be honest? Pls. don't read this post!

I have a couple of half-written posts which I just don't feel like completing.
As for writing something completely new, original or even close to phenomenal, I plead the Writer's Block.
Of course there is this tag doing the rounds, see here and here and here
But the effort to tackle that seems superhuman
And for today I confess to be a very lazy person
I am trying hard to plead no-play with  some reasonable explanation
But everything sounds so lame and unconvincing, to my own pierced ears
Am I already failing in this Blog Marathon game?
I am not conceding defeat or wanting to withdraw,
Why, we have only another 12 (looong) days to soldier on
This active mind which pursues a blog post in almost everything otherwise
For this moment seems remarkably zen-blank in face of the notebook.
Children's pranks, kitchen experiments, people foibles, advances in science and technology,
pursuit of dharma, movies and books, the forgotten past, war heroes, or the truant weather
Amidst all the trials and tribulations of daily living, I can still not pick up a topic and conjure
A post for this Saturday with a beginning, middle and an ending short
Hopefully tomorrow is another day.........
I hope dear readers that till this garbled rambling right upto the end you have read not
For Shakespeare, O Nash or Shelley I am certainly not.

P.S. - Have updated the Protein Packed Power Balls post with the recipe, in case it interests you.

  1. Blessings....
You need not worry about writing long posts, an entry can be as simple as, "today is a day of NOs, no i don't want to write, no I don't want to get out of bed, no I don't want to cook and know I didn't want to write this post but i did anyway, much like life at times you do what you must even when you are feeling the opposite."

It can be long or it can be short and sweet.

    Stay blessed.
    peace.

  3. Hey this is post enough!
it's perfectly normal and OK to draw a blank
    when on a journey long..
not a time to concede defeat, most certainly
'coz, tomorrow shall be a new day
to rise to the challenge befittingly!

  6. LOL
This happens to the best of us. This is exactly why I stopped taking up reading challenges. I felt it takes away from the joy of reading just for the sake of it.

Anyways, I think you have been doing great on the marathon front so far. Honestly. You have been regular, and your posts have been interesting and with substance. :)

    All the very best!

    1. Thanks TGND, your feedback is so reassuring:) I agree, daily marathons somehow take away the fun of posting because of some kind of deadline factor to it. I don't think I can do reading challenges for the same reason.
