Art & Sabotage...Blogging Marathoon 2014 Post 24

Big G is the artist at home. Honestly, I have never sat down with her to craft stuff much, because she has a mind of her own and never wants to follow step-by-step instructions on some tutorial I would've identified.
So, I've just let her be, and do things the way she wants to. She is appalled by (the complete absence of) my organizing skills, and I see her setting things right or rearranging cushions a lot.

Here's a dainty chest of drawers in red and an autumn card, followed by my all time favorite - a small shrine made with a bird's house  in the garden.

And now to the sabotage part of the post -  that is me undoing my attempts at following a diet by digging into some nachos. So not done.

    Big G is indeed very artistic!! And she is doing all this without help from you is such a great thing!!
    Let's get back to the diet, we need it..

May 2013 - The Elusive One

Think back to a month in your life. Do you remember any month or period specifically from the sweeping past or present? New Year Resolutions - Blogathon 2014 Post 1

Hello all! This is the first in the series of posts for the month of January, Blogathon initiative by Dreamy Mommy here . Today's prompt is New Year Resolutions. In fact, in my hastily scribbled end-of-year post I did touch briefly on this. In the last few years, I like to make resolutions or declarations, whichever, in writing. This is because in the course of steering one'e life through uncharted waters and all that, it is easy to land up someplace you simply did not intend going.
